Day 3, draws 6 and 7

At the end of draw 7, Alberta (Kevin Koe) shares a three-way tie with B.C. and Manitoba with a record of 4-1. Alberta will play Northern Ontario (2-3) in draw 9 on March 4. Sean Brady/The Omega

Day 2, draws 3, 4 and 5

Newfoundland and Labrador’s Brad Gushue takes aim at a few of Alberta’s stones in an early end during their 9-4 loss in Draw 5. With the loss, NL moves to 1-3 and has some ground to make up over the course of the week if they intend on seeing the playoffs on Friday and Saturday. Mike Davies/The Omega
